New Fetish... Pre-war Winchester 75
 

I just picked up a Winchester 75 that dates to 1939. She has what looks to be an "AA R" (Augusta Arsenal) cartouche on the side and a "P" on the grip.

I have been getting into .22s more lately. This is another rifle that I will be looking for at the funshows.

Some of the old timers will remember the 75.

I have a mossberg model 44 (.22) u.s. training rifle. Is similar to your winchester. Very accurate.

Had to go back to the same store to take another look around. Found this beauty....

Mauser ES340B with a Weaver B6 scope from about the same date as the Winchester.

I need to stay away from that store!
