New Fetish... Pre-war Winchester 75
I just picked up a Winchester 75 that dates to 1939. She has what looks to be an "AA R" (Augusta Arsenal) cartouche on the side and a "P" on the grip.
I have been getting into .22s more lately. This is another rifle that I will be looking for at the funshows. Some of the old timers will remember the 75. http://www.hunt101.com/data/500/75-1.JPG http://www.hunt101.com/data/500/75-2.JPG  |

I have a mossberg model 44 (.22) u.s. training rifle. Is similar to your winchester. Very accurate.

Gotta love the classics. Very nice rifle. I have looked for that very model myself.

Had to go back to the same store to take another look around. Found this beauty....
